Anyone have a Java example to write text to the Parallax 27977 16x2 LCD ?

Having difficultly finding a complete example. The Parallax Serial LCD PDF doesn't have a Java example sad

Wiring seems simple enough, and I at least get a cursor, but setting baud, flow, etc - OK, I'm lost !


Any direction, link, etc, would be appreciated. Still new to this ...

does list a javelin example (see section downloads, javelin stamp example code)
