A while ago i posted a question about controlling a 3 phase dc speed controller with the stamp 2px. Can the PWMPAL be used to free up my processing space on my micro controller with four motors. The command protocol is 50 Hz and 1-2ms PWM signals for the speed controller. I am fairly new with the micro controller and it's programming. An answer is greatly appreciated. One other small question is can i use sensors and other things that are not motors with my micro controller because as i see it the stamp plugs in directly over the PWMPAL. Would sensors bypass the PWMPAL and get to my micro controller.

Read the PWMPAL documentation. You'll see that the PWMPAL requires one I/O pin as a minimum (for control) and it "takes over" additional I/O pins depending on the way it's configured. All the other pins are "pass through" and the I/O pins that are not used (not configured) are "passed through" as well.
