There are some MP3 players that can be controlled by a Stamp. Take a look at the Vinculum VMusic2 which is functionally similar to Parallax's Memory Stick Datalogger. There are sample programs for controlling the Parallax device and these will work with the VMusic2. Change the commands slightly and they'll play a track instead of reading the data in the MP3 file.

Music is a stretch, But Ring tones is a close maybe. Take a look at experiment#19 in the StampWorks Manuel.It uses DTMF.
