For one of my projects I wanted to add a volt meter using my SX Chip. I looked around and found all the ADC info but was wondering what to do if I am just trying to read a DC voltage. any info as to where to start would be great. Sorry if I am asking a stupid question.. Thanks in advance

This is pretty easy -- this took all of 20 minutes (while watching the Cowboys game!) to put together. Okay, from parts I have developed and used -- but they've all been posted in these forums. All you have to do is run your 12v through a divider to feed 5v into the ADC.

Jonnymac first of all thanks for your support you are one of the reason I am a Parallax loyal customer. Also thanks for the code I am going to study every detail of it until I fully understand it. I have a good idea already but I am still new to this game and have a long way to go..· Happy Holidays to you and your family and to all the members on this site. I can't describe in words what parallax and the members have done for me as far as microcontrollers go. It is so much fun working with the sx chips.
Thanks again and see you next year..
