I'd like to see that computer play the "I'm a PC" role in one of those smarmy Mac commercials.

That could be taken many different ways.

Sam has a point…having run a computer shop for many years I have seen my share of beat-up computers come in. Often (most of the time) they were beat up for problems not related to the computer hardware itself. The guy in the video clearly needs anger management. I have also seen people punching their steering wheels and/or dashboards because traffic is slow. And then there are the ones you hear about who threw something at their TV set because their favorite sports team lost. I have to wonder if they really honestly believe it helps them in any way whatsoever. I have always found myself treating my PCs and other electronic equipment as if it were as fragile as a baby. In turn, everything I have has outlasted everyone else I know with the same equipment.

    Terry,

Thanks one heckuva lot for the nightmares I'll be having tonight!

For those of you who share my concern, all it takes is a pair of PropSTICK Kit bare PCBs (see link below) and a couple wire ties to ward off the evil:

    attachment.php?attachmentid=57273

(I'm really running out of good sales pitches.)

I one had an HP printer that·I want to the same to it that was in that video

The problem with this·printer is for some reason it work two or three time in row when you would turn on the computer on but the four time it would not until you reload the software and drivers again

at first·I thought that it was the computer but when·I·bought a new computer it did the same thing again

so it was time to retire this printer for good

If fact that is the printer that i ask about if there where any use able part in it

While the video is pretty funny, Phil's attempt to sell PropStick PCB's as protection from evil spirits even better.

I've always said, "Nobodly likes a smart machine." But it really isn't fair to beat up something that can't fight back.

I could use some protection from evil spirits. These days I keep having nightmares of uncontrollable plumbing leaks. The mind is an unfathomable thing. It isn't even raining here.

Beating up on Microsoft can be fun though.... I am enjoying Ubuntu Linux more and more. Linux users really like to share knowledge.

Oh, come on. Microsoft has always included those incredibly useful Help files, giving you hard-to-come-by hints like "To save your file, choose File, then Save".

Come to think of it, that's the moment I'm most likely to throw something at my computer. If it were possible to miss the hardware and hit the software (or better yet, the dolt who actually gets paid to write those utterly useless help files), I'd keep projectiles by my computer all the time.

Linux users freely share their expertise. It is kind of like Parallax in that way. Try throwing your shoes at Bill Gates the next time you see him. It's the Iraqi way.

Lately, I have been struggling with what I fondly thing of as 'Rogueware'. This is my firewall, antivirus, and registry software vendor that wants to double bill me via automatic bill for my annual updates. It isn't exactly 'malware', but these companies are beginning to act like they own my computer and credit card.

    Stop 'rogueware'
