Button object?

Any one got or know where I can get a button monitoring object. Basically I have a pin that is set as an input. I want to be able to monitor this button and perhaps a matrix of buttons in the future. I am sure there is a object already made. I searched this forum and found nothing. If not I supose I will atempt to make one.

this is the one from the PE-education kit. it is not totally usable as is but you can probably modify it easily to like go in its own cog and stuff
