Oh my heck, $1 QVGA screen?

Wow, anyone seen these on sparkfun? Better yet, anyone made a DRIVER for them? This looks like a fantastic deal if we can come up with a driver for it!

    Hm -

    17x22 MILLIMETERS active area. If you want the display mounted right in front of your sunglasses - good size - otherwise very small size
    I apologize ahead: oh I have a nice project-idea !! how about a mouse-trap with a mouse-sized TV showing Tom and Jerry ?

    I like the PSP screen I wonder if the prop would be able to drive it.

    I had 10 of those plus the backlight plus the larger display for the other side of the backlight in my cart a few weeks ago...

    Went to place the order a couple days later and the larger display was all sold out. [noparse]:([/noparse] Now, I see the backlights are sold out too...

    What do you plan to do for a backlight?

    PS: I bought a cool 320x240 RGB TFT (2.5") for $25 that I hope to get working with the Prop soon...
