its that time of year again when my parents ask me what i want for christmas and im baffled, my biggest problem is having to figure out what i want and how to explain what it is i want, well i know what i want this year, but no idea where to find it. i am always working with things like gps, ultrasonic, infrared, etc. basic sensors. one thing i want to get into is optics. i was thinking of getting some sort of camera with a nice display and maybe even making a hud and a small ant sized survelence bot. i was wondering if anyone here knew where i could get a small camera with a nice display about 3.5-4 inches diagonel, i have some experience with the propellor and am pretty good with a basic stamp. if anyone can tell me where i can find a camera/display or just some other cool things i could ask for christmas, let me know

thank you so much for that link it was helpfull, now im looking for a motor set of 2 motors with wheels and gearboxes. i really would like to make an offroad bot or a ballancing bot, i would reallly like something like the parallax motor moutn and wheel kit, but without the cost, i have looked at AME motors from robot marketplace that look a lot like the motors used with that kit, any input would be awesome

You could use an RC car: cheap and ready for you to hack. Unique too. But if you want something like the Parallax motor kits, you might as well go with them. You won't find anything as good for any less (or even for some more...)
