Why BS2pe produces louder sound that BS1 does on the same frequency?
I used the same frequency and same speaker.

    It's impossible to tell for sure without a lot of information about your speaker and how you have it wired up, but the BS1 and the BS2pe use very different microprocessors and the output circuitry for the I/O pins is very different. The Basic interpreter had to have been completely rewritten for the SX-based Stamps and the internal tone generation routines (let alone the Basic statement used) would be very different.

    the voltage levels in the bs1 are lower put them on an o-scope and check for your personal amusment
    or just use a multimeter
