Vdd connections

I'm making a PCB for my propeller on a single sided PCB(home brew). I'd like to have the least amount of jumper wires as possible, and I'm down to only two. One of these is a jumper wire to connect BOTH Vdd pins of the propeller. My question is, if I supply power to only one of these pins, can I leave the other with no connection? This would be GREAT.

You may run afoul of the dreaded PLL failure problem. One of the causes is ground loops (and similar "loops" involving Vdd). Leaving one Vdd pin unconnected will force some of the Vdd current to travel across the chip to the other Vdd pin possibly causing voltage drops that can contribute to this PLL failure among other problems.

    Don't do it!
Give the Vdd all of the juice everywhere it wants. Blowing a PLL is so very depressing.

That's kind of what I had figured. A couple more holes isn't really that big of a deal when I'm already drilling at least 40 just for the DIP propeller. Thanks guys!
