I would like to retrieve the frequency from a microphone(electret demo board rev c) any ideas on how I would do this would be greatly appreciated

I posted a "Parrot" code a while ago that saves mic input to memory and then plays it back... You could combine the record code with an fft routine to extract the frequencies...
