Sources for Sprites

Because my art skills are seriously lacking, I've been scouring the net for sources of sprites.
It's difficult to locate single color sprites, but this list may be interesting to others.
(even more so when Jim/Coley get their board released)
Some extended Google searching turned up with this list:
Game Sprite Archives
NES sprites
Public Domain Sprites
Skyguy Kingdom
SpriteLIB GPL
Video Game Sprites.net
Kirby Sprite Collection
Anyone turn up any other good sources? I'm keen to find sources of 2600/Spectrum stuff for use with AiGeneric

But, what do you recommend, so I can code little things and save them? Do I need the interface 1,2 and the micro drive, or was there something else?
Andre'
Yes, I'm a Sinclair guy, Yes, you want the colour ZX-Spectrum 48K, if you want the real thing, but if you want to be able to save stuff, you could get a +3, that has an amstrad style floppy drive ( the discs weren't really floppy at all lol ) you'd be able to save stuff then, and those drives were more reliable than the micro drive, don't know how many times I was glad I saved on multiple microdrives because they kept losing data.
or if you go with the ZX-Spectrum 48K, the best drive in my opinion is the Opus Discovery :) ( looks like this http://www.worldofspectrum.org/hardware/feat9.html ) I had one when doing my speccy games, on speccy, before moving onto a Tatung Einstein.
or if you want to go for the latest best thing since sliced bread, go for the divIDE http://baze.au.com/divide/
Don't forget to post your doings :)

Hmmm, well, I will first try and track down the Sinclair and then look for the drive. Right now, the only thing I get to do is "look" at stuff, that includes my 360, PS2, etc. if I have free time then I just work more. Too much to be done each day :)

The perfect way to decorate your office or game room....

I'm an old and die hard Sinclair fan. My first computer was a ZX81 which I bought with my paper route money.· It came in kit form, and I had to solder it together. I still have it too. I built a nice little display case for it, and keep it on my desk at work so that I never forget where I came from. It *should* still work too, it did the last time I tried it.
I never owned a speccy, but I did buy a TS2068 which was a speccy with more memory, and better sound.· Later a friend of mine (Don Walterman) helped me modify the TS2068 so that you could flip a switch and it suddenly became a spectrum 48k.· I never owned a floppy drive or anything.· All my programs were stored on casette tape.· The TS2068 still works, but now-a-days when I feel a penchant for retro-coding, I just fire up an emulator.
From there I went right on to the Sinclair QL.· (Sir Clive's answer to the Apple computers of the day)·That was an extremely powerful computer, but those microdrives sucked.· I did have to repair the keyboard membrane when I first got it.· That was always a weekness in Sir Clive's computers.· The QL doesn't work anymore, won't even boot up, could be a dead component on the motherboard,. But I still keep it around in my own little makeshift computer museum.· I wanted the gold card badly, but it was just too expensive, and my measley $6.00/hour job kept me from affording it.· But I do have the floppy controller and a box full of disks. ;)
I've had other computers as well:· Commodore 64, Coleco Adam,·TRS-80 CoCo III, Commodore 128D, Amiga 500 (Now I have several PC's, and a Mac Mini).· But I think the Sinclair computers will always be my favorite.
