    You have to respect the cas. And avoid the space in the name

    So name the file "ButtonLed.java" and the class "ButtonLed" too.

    Thanks JM. It worked but pressing the button does not put the led on. I think the resistors are incorrectly wired. any links to verifying resistor ks.or could it be another problem i am not aware of?

    Sorry me again.

    I am trying to run the Shift74595 chip. I am in need of help.

    This is the error message:

    [noparse][[/noparse]Java error] Shift74595.java(6,7,8,11,11,11) Syntax: Unexpected symbol ignored.

    Here is my copy. Compiles ok.
    This is the second time you report this kind of error.
    Could your harddisk be failing?

    Okay, how can I garantee this does`nt happen again? In terms of my hard disk as you said.


    And in terms of the DS1620 where do I attach the High Thermostat , Low Thermostat or combined Thermostat pin connections. It is not clear. I know where the dataPin , clock Pin link too. It`s not clear on the chip schematics.
