Adhesive Thermocouple

Has anyone used an adhesive thermocouple with the BS2 and if so could you suggest one to me? I want to attach one to batteries in a hybrid so I can monitor their temp.
I don't have a BS2p as the thermocouple kit suggests. Thanks so much.

I have a thermocouple attached to a little magnet, intended specifically for measuring the temperatures of batteries that are being tested. The idea is to tape a little piece of steel or iron to the battery, and then clank the thermocouple onto that.

It came with a CBA II Computerized Battery Analyzer from westmountainradio.com -- a most useful tool for testing rechargeable batteries. It will test non-rechargeable batteries too, but afterward they're not much use, having been tested by discharging them.

Perhaps West Mountain Radio would sell their thermocouple separately; or perhaps you could just glue, say, a standard Type H thermocouple to a little magnet with epoxy glue.

I haven't used a thermocouple with a Stamp, though. I'd guess you might need an op-amp and an ADC to get the information into the Stamp.
