You can take jumper wires and connect to the socket on the BS2pe motherboard to a bread board.· The pin out for the socekt that is on the BS2pe motherboard is in the manual.· Here is a link for the manual:

You can also create a plug-in transition by means of the BS2pe Prototyping Daughterboard and the aforementioned jumper wires. This will also protect the Mobo's socket contacts from any stress that direct insertion of jumper wires may cause.

As an alternative, DigiKey carries compatible daughterboard connector shells and preterminated wire inserts that you can use to make the transfer. The shells are part number H2917-ND. The best deal on the wires is part number H3AAT-10112-S6-ND. Becasue of DigiKey's weird pricing structure, it's cheaper to buy dual-terminated 12" wires and cut them in half than to buy singly-terminated 6" wires. Go figure.

You can save money over DigiKey, though, by using Parallax's Daughterboard Extension Cable and just cutting the female receptacle off the end.

Hmm. The documentation for the BS2pe MOBO says

Important: Never insert jumper wires into the daughterboard sockets. Unlike 0.1” header sockets,
these are not big enough to receive most jumper wires without damage.

The $15 Power Input, 3-pin Header I/O Daughterboard brings these pins out to three-pin headers, plus gives more power options.
