Outputs TTL ?

Hi I'm a newbie concerning the Basicstamp.

Can I assume that an·output·can be used as a TTL -output? Or do i have to use extra components to realize this?··

    Yes.

    Strictly speaking, the Stamp has high current (20-25mA) CMOS outputs, but, for practical purposes, these are considered compatible with TTL outputs. Most devices these days described as having TTL compatible outputs really have CMOS outputs.
