Does anyone know if there's any way to acquire one of the old parallax inkjet kits? I've been looking everywhere for them and I can't find any suppliers.

Barring this kit, are there any other inkjet developers kits?

Thanks...!

In general, Parallax drops 3rd party products when:

    1) The product is no longer available from the manufacturer.

    2) The demand for the product drops to where it's no longer practical to maintain inventory. You need a certain amount of sales volume to pay the incremental costs of providing a product.

See this thread too. The inkjet cartridges themselves are available, so you can forge ahead with Matt Gilliland's book, which was the textbook for the Parallax inkjet kit. With some spring-loaded terminals and a little machine shop work, I think you could make a nice substitute cradle. The Stamp itself can do low-speed printing and fast printing would take the SX, as described both hardware and software in Matt's book. Or the Prop.
