I am trying to develop a simple additive (sine wave) audio music synthesizer.·· I'm hoping to get at least two voices out of four of the cogs (8 voices total), using one cog for MIDI interpretation, one for mixing each of the oscillators and panning between two channels, one for converting the mixed signals into PWM which I'll filter to drive the left and right channel outputs, and the final cog for overall control (LCD display, control inputs, etc.).
I selected the Propeller given that its unique multi-processing design seemed to be friendly to this idea.
That's the hope anyway . . .

Cool. Be sure to check out some of the objects that Chip wrote for synthesizing voices and sound. I used the "seven" song that he used to demonstrate the capability of the Propeller as my ring tone on my phone.

So True! Life is over.. Propeller is a real addiction. :)

When PropellerII is released it's doubtful that most of us with ever see daylight again.
Good news is that it's been proven that LED lighting is good for your skin.
