Print data to Javelin Terminal
I need to interact with a Javelin program without having to upload the program beforehand each time, but can't seem to get it to work.
Try this.· Upload a program to the Javelin that repeatedly prints something, e.g. "Hello world", to the Javelin Terminal.· If the Javelin Terminal's Enabled checkbox is selected, you'll see the output as expected.
Now, shut down the Javelin IDE, restart it, do not upload the program again, bring up the Javelin Terminal with its Enabled checkbox selected.··No output is displayed·(at least not for me).· I was hoping/expecting output would be displayed.
I invoked Project | Test Connection and that was successful so there is connectivity.
To be complete, I also want to be able to enter commands to the program (basically to turn on and off the printing of various data).
Is there something else I need to do to interact with the program without having to upload it beforehand each time ?

The IDE v2.0.3 unfortunately does not open the comport for terminal control
unless you program the javelin.
There are 2 solutions:
1. Use my JideWin_Terminal program

2. Use the IDE beta
