Using a basic stamp as a DMX DJ lighting controller

I was wondering if anyone has ever seen a basic stamp used to interpret the DMX lighting protocol used in DJ lighting systems. I have some software·on my pc that can control·DMX lights but I’m not·too sure·how I would·go about interfacing to a BS2.
im looking to just controll some relays using DMX. if that is even·possible, then ill focus·on more advanced features too.
any ideas??
