Hexapod with BS2....?

Hi guys!

I just want to know, is it possible to build a 2DOF or 3DOF hexapod robot with BS2? And by the way, I'm just a beginner (just finished with the Boe-Bot book). Can anybody help me? Please reply.

Thanks a lot! Just one last question...Servo controller has 16 ports, and the Boe has 3 left. Could I build a 3DOF hexapod with 18 servos?
