Maybe not.. Did you buy the "Propeller" board? This one is for BASIC STAMP, etc.

MinimumWage,

As OBC stated. This is indeed for the PDB (28138) not the PPDB (32111). Completely different boards.

Great idea!

I know I was starting to miss your SALE page since the new web site design took place. I'll be checking back daily...unless my wife hides the computer...

Oops! The sale price was so low that it short-circuited my reading comprehension circuits. Now I only feel slightly bad about missing out on the PPDB scratch & dent sale... =)

Great, now Ken has me buying things I don't even need yet! These prices are too good to pass up. I need a therapy group...

We offer therapy, too. Maybe that's part of tomorrow's daily deal. Our counselors can offer advice in programming, circuits, and the best use of the part you are about to purchase!

Is there a minimum shipping weight? When I tried to order just the accelerometer, I got the following:

There are no shipping services currently available for that shipping company. Please select a different shipping company in the [Rates By] dropdown menu.
USPS Rates Request Error, Number: -2147219500, USPS Rates Request Error: Please enter the package weight.

The only other choice is UPS, and that comes out to $9. Can't it just go in an envelope with a couple of postage stamps?

That's happened to me a couple of times and I just added to the order so that I could select USPS, costing a couple of $ less to ship and getting it in 3 days verses 7 days. Hopefully, Parallax will correct this soon.

I had the same issue, and wound up adding a servo that seemed to make the difference. UPS delivery is just not practical for me - I wind up having to get one of those tags on my door, calling to have it held, then needing to drive down to the depot to pick it up - and paying several dollars for the privilege. I can't see myself ordering many of these "daily deals" if shipping on a $15 item is going to be $9 unless I add more $13 items each time. USPS shipping, please. :)

Love the "daily deal" idea, though. It's addicting.

It didn't change all weekend. That was a LONG weekend. I spent most of it clicking on that red button with my fingers crossed.

sylvie369,

Thanks for the feedback. We will look to change out items over the weekend once we have the process completely automated. For now we will leave the Friday Daily Deal up over the weekend. I will make an announcement once we make the change.

Thanks for the support

What great deals, I'm getting started with the propeller because of the great sale on that proto board the other day. Looking forward for another shot at the propeller PDB, love the old one for stamps and SX.

Question: Is there no daily deal for today (Friday)? It's the same 4X20 LCD as yesterday. Or is the deal supposed to be the Protoboard and accessory kit combo, and the link wasn't updated?

Actually that a super deal to see over the weekend.

I've got one of those and it's extremely handy.

They finally updated it sometime late in the afternoon. I felt like I was in the movie "Groundhog Day".

More accurately, I'm a rat in a Skinner Box on a Fixed Interval schedule of reinforcement:

employees.csbsju.edu/TCREED/pb/schedules.html

"Fixed interval responding is characterized by the FI scallop, which is a result of the gradually accelerating rate of response as the interval comes due."

You should see how fast I click that little red button between 10:58 CST and whenever the Daily Deal finally appears.

Ah, that explains my cat Browser's behavior in the afternoon as shrimp time (his, um, "cocktail" hour) approaches!
