How best to Share Multiple Robot Videos

My classes will be fielding at least 8 robots in a few weeks. 3 line followers, 3 line maze, 2 MicroMouse and several non-standard bots.

I'd like to make videos available for members here. What is the best way???

Put them on YouTube and provide links?
Can I put them on my site (www.picrobots.com) and link from here?
.....or??

    RoboticsProfessor,

If they are under 2 Megs then you can attach them directly to the forum, but sometimes it can be difficult to keep a quality video under that size.

Many people have used YouTube and it seems to work well. If your site has enough space and band-width then that might be easier to organize and manage.

Basically any of the options that you suggest would be perfectly fine.

I am looking forward to seeing your video. It sounds like a fun class.

I recommend YouTube or similar for sharing videos.· You can post videos on YouTube and then embed them into your web site if you want.· Why YouTube?· One is because it is accessible around the world (well, almost).· Two is that it won't destroy your bandwidth.· Three is that the player streams the videos out, I can't stand visiting a site that has an AVI posted and then you have to mess with a media player to download and play the video.

YouTube will also open your video up to a wider audience as it can show up in their search results.· It is neat to see who comments on the videos and what they may be inspired to create when they see your robots.

Way cool video Richard! On YouTube, in the info box, you should include the link to your site like you did above. That way interested users can then wander to your site to learn more about the robot.

I am eager to see more of what you create.
