just posted·74hc597 driver
A spin module that starts a cog and free runs·up to 4 series wired·74hc597 8-bit latch/shift registers. (diagrams included)·It's great for·reading a bunch of switch or binary inputs without taking up too many prop ports. The 74hc597·runs at 3.3v so it can be powered by the same source as the prop. With 4 you get 32 inputs using 5 prop ports.
