what do i need to connect 4 ir leds and 4 ir receivers to a boebot?

i am building a robot and need ir "eyes" both in front and back for object detection.
what resistors should i use. '
and how should the basic wiring diagram look.

please help smile.gif

btw. i am using an h-bridge to let the boe control an rc car.

    Download the "Robotics with the BoeBot" tutorial. It has lots of information on object detection using IR including basic wiring. You can find Parallax's tutorials by going to their main webpage, clicking on the Resources tab, then choosing Downloads, then Stamps in Class Downloads.
