·Can a person use the programing port·also as a serial in port.·All eight pins are being used now in my program and I want to send data to·the stamp1 via serial port from a desk top computor. How·can I·do this since serin is always·a pin.

    You can't do that with the BS1. There is a Nuts and Volts Column on interpreting the DEBUG datastream from the BS1 to the PC, but you can't just send serial data from the BS1 via the programming port and you can't receive serial data at all through it.

    i will have to start looking at these famous columns i have seen an actual copy of the magazine once and i liked it so these should be some good reading material
