The format of compiled programs is different between the BS1 and the BS2 and some of the statements are completely different (like RCTIME vs. POT). There are other differences as well. There's no automatic way to convert from the BS1 to the BS2. There is an application note that discusses how to change source programs so they'll compile for the BS2, but some things (like POT vs. RCTIME) can't be easily changed. The attached components would need to be changed and that section of the program would have to be rewritten.
