Does anyone have Parallax Stratix 672 SmartPack boards to sell?

Hi,

Does anyone have Parallax Stratix(EP1S25) 672 SmartPack boards?

We need couple of above boards in our research work. Unfortunately they are not in production or not available in the market. If you are having those boards and no longer use, then let us know. We would like to buy them.

    Try Parallax Customer Service or Ken Gracey directly. They really enjoy a challenge.

    They might even give you the Gerbers etc. so that you can get your own boards made. Or, you can design your own version (or get someone to do it for you) and get them made. They looked quite simple.

    Indeed, I don't think I could easily resurrect a build of Stratix boards for you, but I think I can provide you with the Bill of Materials, PCB files, and SX20 loader. You may or may not want to do this, as assembly of these BGA parts requires some X-ray equipment for verification. Many SMT lines have the equipment, but I remember it made everything quite expensive. Additionally, the Stratix parts themselves are very costly.

    A company I know has one of these that I think is not in use.

    Can you give me an idea how much you would offer for this board?

    I found this old thread and I have the same question. Years ago I built 5 fiber optic gyro test beds using these boards. Now someone is calling me to build some more. It would be nice if I can just get my hands on these boards again. I know they have been out of production a long time.
    Any Ideals?

    Parallax can provide the files to you to make them your own, or you could do a minimum order through us for around 250 units, which I'm certain is too high.
