ST M24256 as Prop EEPROM

Will the ST Microelectronics M24256 I2C EEPROM function as a Prop EEPROM ?

Here in Helsinki ELFA has these. They lack chip selects A0, A1, A2 which aren't necessary anyway and are only S08 outline which I guess is still solderable by hand somehow.

Anyone tried these ?

    heater: Chip select lines E0 - E2 apparently serve the same function as A0-A2 according to the data sheet.

    SO8 is quite easy to solder.
