Parallax - "Confusion"?

Google Search has an option running right now for running an old, 2001 search. When I try Parallax, one of the top (sponsored?) results is "Confusion Network Systems" Hmmm. Were the Basic Stamps that difficult to use back then? [noparse]:)[/noparse]

At one time our domain was parallaxinc.com and I believe parallax.com was being used by a graphics cards company. Later we acquired parallax.com and have been using that.

Interestingly there are several companies with the Parallax name.· In Tech Support I used to get calls all the time for Parallax Power Components.· A few times for the graphics cards company.· In one case asking about the game Descent.

So, sounds like somebodys April Fools joke...

Just for the sake of amusement, I Googled "Confusion Network Systems". One of the oddest results was this page, which lists nine "faith establishments". The bottom entry was particularly intriguing. But further investigation reveals that "Ra Corky & Gracey" refers to the husband-and-wife team, Corky and Gracey Ra — not a remote connection to the Parallax Graceys.

Oddly enough, the Google search also produced parallax.com, in addition to this selfsame thread. (Google is really fast!) So, now it looks like we've cemented whatever tenuous connection existed between Parallax and Confusion Network Systems even more firmly — at least as far as Google is concerned!

BTW, here is the whois page for Confusion Network Systems. 'No clue as to what they actually do.
