Anyone see the new robotics motors from parallax? I think those are power window motors for a car, lol.

    A bit hefty for window motors, I think. Unless you want defensive windows that can cut off fingers...

    I sell auto parts for a living (that explains my forum alias) and those are definitely automotive window motors. But with added position encoders and very nice wheels and tires.

    At first I thought they were a little pricey, as you can pick up those motors in a parts store new for $40-50. But once you add those nice wheels, already fitted to the motor, and the position encoders. You'd probably pay almost as much to roll your own.
