What Stamp setup should I choose

Greetings
I am new to stamp controllers and have only cerebral experiance in books and articles.· Last time I used programmable logic was 1979.· I would like to set myself up with a learning module (breadboard) and probably would want a USB connection instead of RS232.· Is it obvious yet that I don't even know enough how to ask what I want to know.· If you were going to get your younger sibling started, what would you recommend.
Thanks Student

I agree the Education kit is great but if money is not a huge issue and you plan on doing a large number of projects or circuits then the Professional Development Board is the way to go.· It only costs $159 and does everything you need with regards to testing all kinds of sensors!
Plus you can use all the different types of modules from the BS2 to the BS2p40 to the SX28!
Take a look and see for yourself!
