Propeller Professional Development Boards at Discount: $129

Hello,
We've been sold out of Propeller Professional Development Boards (the PPDB) for quite some time. Believe it or not, the origin of the error had to do with a mistake that turned a 1,000 unit order into 100 units at our factory. Nobody said anything and they made 100 boards even though we always make every product in 1,000 units or higher.
Anyway, we have 145 "slightly blemished" PPDBs arriving in about a day or so. We have a tough QA/QC at our factory that rejects PCBs having slight aesthetic problems. In this case, the soldering iron touched the PCB for too long during assembly and left a minor burn mark. Typical rejected PCBs have between one and three of these marks. Often you have to look to find them - I couldn't find something "wrong" with the boards when they were handed to me until the inspector showed me what to look for. Of course they are 100% functional aside from these blemishes.
We're selling these at $129.99, normally priced at $169.99 ($40 off). I'm not sure how our marketing staff is going to make them available (on our web site as a normal order, via e-Bay, call-in, etc.) but I'll get Lauren to set that part straight by reply to this thread.·The full-priced, non-blemished·remainder of our initial 1,000 unit inventory arrives 10/28/08. Those will continue to sell at $169.99.
Sincerely,
Ken Gracey

(I didn't get one at UPENE either).
$129 is a pretty fair price. I'd like one.

Concentrate on understanding the problem, not applying the tool
The way I see it, is I'll probably blemish it straight away, so why not just buy in cheap?

Put them on ebay; I wouldn't be surprised if you can get *more* than retail for them. After all, coins with slight blemishes from the mint usually command a premium price.
LOL!!
Maybe have somebody autograph them or something. But wait!!! Sell me mine first ;)

' Test the piezospeaker circuit.

' {$PBASIC 2.5} ' PBASIC directive.
DEBUG CLS, "Beep!!!" ' Display while speaker beeps.
FREQOUT 4, 2000, 3000 ' Signal program start/reset.
DO ' DO...LOOP
DEBUG CR, "Waiting for reset…" ' Display message
PAUSE 500 ' every 0.5 seconds

I need to get my boe-bot to beep continuously so i used the program above but it only beeps once and then says waiting for reset over and over.

Nothing is impossible, there are only different degrees of difficulty.
For every stupid question there is at least one intelligent answer.
Don't guess - ask instead.
If you don't ask you won't know.
If your gonna construct something, make it·as simple as·possible yet as versatile as posible.
