Hello Parallax-Team,
I took a look onto the docs of the PPDB.
On the site
www.parallax.com/Store/Microcontrollers/BASICStampModules/tabid/134/txtSearch/32111/List/1/ProductID/515/Default.aspx?SortField=ProductName%2cProductName
there are available two links
Resources and Downloads:
PPDB Documentation
PPDB Schematic
www.parallax.com/Portals/0/Downloads/docs/prod/prop/32111-Propeller%20Professional%20Development%20Board.pdf
www.parallax.com/Portals/0/Downloads/docs/prod/robo/PPBD_A%20Schematic.pdf
The schematics show small pieces of how a double-row-PLUG is connected to some other plug.
In the schematics all these plugs are named X1, X2, X3, etc. but I can't find these names in the other doc with the pictures.
I have to make conclusions like: "ok next to this plug there are the acronyms RESn BOEn so I BELIEVE (not knowing) it is Plug X3"
I do not really know is plug X7 connected to the chip or not ? ( I guess yes)
As it calls itself PROFESSIONAL I would expect a professional documentation with schematics that show what is connected to the propeller-chip DIRECTLY
Or does professional mean real professionals know everything by this docs or know how to figure it out themselve how it is ?
best regards
Stefan

Nothing is connected to the Propeller, except what is shown on the bottom left of page 2 of the schematic (and X7 as explained later), it is up to the developer to use wires to connect the system they want to design. That is why you see them end in sockets, they accept breadboard thickness wire.· I can match everything in the Connections and Devices figure on page 2 of the manual to a drawing in the schematic, so point to anything you can't locate. The X# label in the schematic isn't necessary to locate on the board. They either have a unique label or have a series of numbers and belong to something well known (ie a LED vs a momentary switch vs a DIP switch), and the Letters along with the following legend below the figure also helps to match it with the correct schematic. X7 is connected to the equivalent pins on the Propeller, it is common practice in large schematics to draw virtual connections by labeling the connections the same label, this is standard practice in all schematics to do this with the·supply nets (GND, Vdd, +3.3V, etc).
