hello any one
·i installed the basic stamp but some how i cannot find the files to edit
like hello word and stuff like that to program my boe-bot.
i installed on program files on windows xp
i installed from cd and i tried from donwlod from parallax.

Since you have not given any details about what you tried and what happened, it's very difficult to give you specific advice.

Go to the main Parallax website and select the "Resources" tab. You'll see a list of items. Start with:

1) Downloads ... then choose Stamps in Class Downloads. You'll see a long list of tutorials you can download.
The tutorials come with sample programs and exercises to do. Start with "What's a Microcontroller?".
You can also download "Robotics with the BoeBot" which should be on the CD as well.

2) (from Resources) You'll see Nuts and Volts Columns. There are over a hundred columns from the Nuts and Volts
magazine on topics from controlling motors to connecting Stamps together to form a network. Browse through the
index and look at a couple of the Columns.

3) Explore the Parallax website. There's a tremendous amount of information, resources, sample programs, etc.
Almost every product in their webstore has links to documentation and sample programs on the webstore page.

Also, don't use a subject like "hi i'm new". It doesn't tell us anything about what's wrong or what the message is about.
You can always edit your messages including the subject of the thread. Use the pencil icon in the upper right corner of
your message box.
