Anyone have a good source for a cheap socket for the 44-Pin QFN Propellor Chip?
I'd like to find one that was cheaper than the processor if possible.

    Even if you can find them, QFN sockets will be very expensive; they just aren't designed for socketing. It would be easier to find one for the QFP package. Why do you need a socket?

    QFN are intended to be soldered, every last instance of a clamshell socket is expressly designed for testing, burning and programming purposes and the cheapest version is in the ballpark of $75.

    Unfortunately, you are seeking an animal that doesn't exist.
