I am confused.

Which one is better for the Propeller?

LC or C only?

The C version seems to be cheaper.

The only real difference is the company, microchip uses LC and atmel uses C.

What I found interesting is that the Atmel part does not have all three address lines. It does however offer 1MHz operation in the 5V part, whereas the Microchip part seems to only offer that on the 24FC512, and only when VCC < 2.5V.

    william chan,

"Can we use the 1.8v part with the Propeller?" - Yes, the 'AA' or 1.8V version is meant for Industrial applications where the voltage applications range from 1.8V to 5V.
