I just ran across these pages (click on link below) on how to control the speed of a PC Fan. I know that does not sound like a lot, but these are the best write-ups I have seen on using various (and many) methods for controlling voltages. Well written, clear descriptions, schematics, math, and even stripboard layout. Very handy information for Propeller heads.
