Hi

The new Infrared Thermometer Module is very interesting.
But it has a Basic Stamp source codes only.

I would appreciate if you add the source code
to use the new product with the Propeller
and with the SX microcontrollers.

It seems you add Basic Stamp source code only.
I have the same problem with almost all sensors.

Do you know where can I find them?

Thanks, Mark

Try asking in the SX and Propeller forums. You can always convert from PBasic to the others.

    Mark,

For most accessories we try to provide at least BASIC Stamp source, since the BASIC Stamp is the recommended microcontroller for beginners. This gets them up and running with minimal knowledge. For advanced microcontrollers like the SX and Propeller it is more a matter of looking at the documentation to see how to talk to the accessory. That is not to say we won’t release code for this module in SPIN or SX/B, but programmers of these microcontrollers are generally more capable of writing their own code based on documentation and BASIC Stamp examples.

    Thanks

    I understand that Spin , SX/B or C
    are more difficult than PBasic.

    But I think
most people aren't experts like you and it is
very difficult to use any Parallax sensor with Propeller
    or SX.

    It is an idea only.

Any way, special thanks to Paul Baker and Chris Savage.

    Thanks, Mark
