I recently discovered a Company here in Germany selling
4" Playstation 2 TFT addon monitors for only 5 Euro !! (8 US $)
This thing has RGB and Sync input, and Stereo Speakers.
www.deluxe24.com/4-Zoll-TFT-Monitor12V-KFZ-Adapter-f-PS2-Slim_p2873_x2.htm
It seems they have >1000 of those in Stock.
Postage to most EU Countries is 15 Euro, to Germany 6 Euro.
Resolution seems to be 320x240 Pixels.
At the moment there are two different TFT Panels known to be used, of which one does seem to
have a not so good quality,as it seems to skip lines.
If you speak german, we are researching this TFT in this thread :

But we discovered that there are different versions with
the same Number and -B or B1 added.
That addition was covered by a sticker at first view.
It should be 320x240.
But we are really not absolutely shure atm :)
It uses a strange placement of the subpixels, that
makes the Picture looking not so good.
The 5,6" sold at that Shop has a far better looking
Panel build in,and has no need for external electroncs, as it
accepts RGB-CSync and also has the backlight inverter
build in, but costs more than 3 times the price of the 4".
5 Euro is an unbeatable price for such a TFT anyway :)

2 ordered to justify shipping cost.. :)
..and if one of them start to communicate with smokesignals, it's OK anyway. ;)
