Your thoughts on FRAM technology making it's way into the PROP II.... Good, bad, or just ugly.... Is the crystaline structure of the ferroelectric film of lead zirconate titanate [noparse]/noparse]Pb(Zr,Ti)O[sub]3[/sub compatable with the current substrate?

F-RAM has 10,000 times greater endurance and 3,000 times less power consumption than a typical serial EEPROM device, and nearly 500 times the write speed.

Keep in mind that the only ROM in the Propellers is masked ROM, and the only EEPROM is external. Moreover, FRAM technology is new enough that it may still be encumbered by patents. If a person wants FRAM technology in their Propeller designs, they can always add a Ramtron chip.
