HUB Memory Space Re-Use

I'm evaluating (=playing with and having great fun with) a propeller with an eye on using it in a commercial product. At the same time I'm trying to unlearn 30 years of experience on other micros...
The scenario...
All 8 COGs used, COG 0 runs the master controlling SPIN code, the other 7 COGs run assembler programs handling I/O etc. Now, once the system is running the space in the hub ram initially occupied by the seven 'starts' and their associated (up to 512 longs) assembly DAT sections is not needed. Is there a clean way to reclaim and reuse that space for data buffers?

Nothing is impossible, there are only different degrees of difficulty.
