·I'm trying to read·two 24 bit Bin.·"word"s (its not a byte or a word) So I call it a "word"....The BS2$ isn't fast enough to read this "word". (IT runs @ 77 kHz),I can see the output from the device useing the Parallax OSC. just as plan as day.The device has a data out·pin and a CLK.out pin. I put the DATA out on CH1 and the CLK out on the EXT.Trigger of the OSC. this sync. the data bits to the display on the OSC. This makes a "textbook" example of the·DATA packets. I·took some screen shots from the OSC. But I'll be Durned if I can find were I saved it to.·I'll rerun the tests and add the Attch. to this post.......

How do you tell where the 24 bit datastream begins and ends? How do you tell where the individual bits are? The fact that you can see them on an oscilloscope doesn't mean that the Propeller can. You show some kind of 55us low period marked as STOP-BIT. Is there some way to tell a stop bit from a start bit?
