If you mean using a VisualStudio developed application to communicate with a stamp - yes loads of people ..

is a good starting point ..

also Chris Savage(Parallax) recently added a VB2005 application for an RFID reader ..

    Intersting links.

I have first hand experiance with BS2e based systems using an RF link to control two seprate portals on a very large piece of moving equipment. Tons of error checking in the communications because the equipment has the potintal of killing someone by remote control.

The control GUI was created with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 in C#.

My question, is anyone using PBasic within the Visual Studio programming enviroment?

A little older in years now I find it cumbersom, and sometimes confusing to switch back and forth between the VS '05 enviroment and the BASIC Stamp Editor.
    Thanks

This might be a good time to mention a book I like:Visual Basic Programmer's Guide to Serial Communications·4.

It covers using VB2005 serial communications quite well.
