I had the week off so I decided to hook up the Basic Stamp 2 to MATLAB.

I have created a webpage that is designed to help others recreate the experience.



This webpage gives general guidlines, basic procedures, and eight detailed examples of how to hook up the BS2 to MATLAB. Each exaple gives step by step instructions, hardware requirements, software used, purpose for the experament, and results.

MATLAB is a numerical computing environment and fourth-generation programming language. Developed by The MathWorks, MATLAB allows matrix manipulation, plotting of functions and data, implementation of algorithms, creation of user interfaces, and interfacing with programs in other languages.
