Viewport 2.0 won't connect to prop

I just downloaded the latest version (mydancebot.com/viewport/r_download.php) and it can't find the propeller after clicking "start". It shows up as COM4, and Viewport does attempt to connect to COM4 but still displays "no propeller found" afterwards. I can program the propeller just fine using PropToolv1.06.

I've successfully used older versions of Viewport in the past; what's wrong?

    I have seen a similar problem occasionally. It disappeared after removing an USB hub and connecting my propeller protoboard directly to the PC USB port. Seems the Viewport software, that uses a very high 2Mbit datarate, is sensitive to the small extra delay the hub introduced.

    I believe that the ViewPort software only works/connects when the Prop is running at 80MHz.·
