The forum does that occasionally, and it usually clears itself up in about 30min.

Sapieha,
As a general rule, I don't recommend using active threads. Even for someone like me who is on the forums alot, the number of unread messages can reach into the thousands. View active threads compiles a list of all unread messages in all forums and displays it. When it does work, it takes minutes to compile this information, and as you noticed it frequesntly won't work at all.

If you really want to use this forum feature, I suggest going into all the forums you don't read and click on the "Mark this forum·read", narrowing down the number of mesages needed to be compiled down to only those forums you are interested in reading.
