When i put the Ping on my boe bot with a mounted bracket and plug the three wires in from the ping to the board and stuff and then uplaod the sample code on it it just turns the servo back and forth and then rotates the boe bot a little bit the keeps repeating that. and i dont know what to do?

I also dont know how to set up the infared stuff to work with the boe bots ping sensor at the same time like its on all the parallax videos so if anyone could help me with either on of those problems that would be cool. thanks

The BOE-Bot is doing this because the IR Sensors are not installed. You can find complete instructions for installing the IR sensors in the Robotics with the BOE-Bot manual. Once the IR sensors are installed you should be okay. Optionally you could use the simple code for roaming with the PING))) which does not require the IR sensors. I hope this helps. Take care.

First, you need to understand how each of these parts work. The Robotics with the BoeBot tutorial has information on navigation with the IR sensors. Roaming with the PING))) has sample code to make the BoeBot work as shown in the videos. You can always find links to sample code and other resources off the Parallax webstore page like the one for the PING))): www.parallax.com/Store/Sensors/ObjectDetection/tabid/176/CategoryID/51/List/0/Level/a/ProductID/92/Default.aspx?SortField=ProductName%2cProductName.
