Boe with EmbeddedBlue module

Hello!

I have a Boe-Bot with an EmbeddedBlue module. In the EmbeddedBlue manual it says that P5 of the BS" musn't be configured as an output. Can I use the P5 as swiches / whiskers for the Boe-Bot? Please reply!
