Vmusic2 with BS2 - help needed

Hi there,

I am new to BASIC Stamp (i used to use picaxe) and am having trouble interfacing my Vmusic2 module with my BS2.

I have tried hooking it up as shown for the Parallax Memory Stick Data logger as they both share the same chip but it would not work.

The Vmusic2 would read the flash drive (red led would flash) but it wouldn't do anything after that - it would not respond to the basic stamp.

Will the sample code for the memory stick data logger work for the Vmusic2 if i hook it up right?

Can anybody tell me how to hook the Vmusic2 up the BS2 (i am using the BOE)

any help would be greatly appreciated.

The sample code for the memory stick data logger should work. The hookup (other than the audio outputs) should be the same. The names that Parallax uses for the signals are the same as the ones Vinculum uses. The fact that the light blinks shows that it has power. It's normal for that to flash for a while when it's first turned on.
